"Torque - the ability of an engine to accelerate a car. It's the force that you most readily experience when you drive and the 911 Turbo and it has lots of it. 501lb/ft to be exact, all the way from 2700rpm to 4600rpm. Add to that 472bhp and you suddenly have a very quick car with easily accessible performance. The acceleration is the most impressive feature about the car, any gear with more than 2000rpm and the car will squat down at the rear and go. That is - pushed back into the seat unrelenting go.
