A fantastic Bravo Delta model of the Fairey Swordfish aircraft. Serving with the Royal Navy, this aircraft formed part of the 811 squadron from HMS Biter. In 1944, it was a Fairey Swordfish that delivered the crippling blow to the German battleship Bismarck, a major event of World War 2. Measures 13 inches in length, 17 inches in width and 4.5 inches in height. Comes complete with presentation stand. The model is hand crafted from kiln dried mahogany, and accurately hand painted using up to 35 coats of lacquer. A Bravo Delta model is a true collectors piece.
