1/25 Hawker Hurricane Last Of The Many by from Grand Prix Legends

This is an exquisite model of the Hawker Hurricane MK1 PZ865 Last Of The Many courtesy of Bravo Delta Models. The plane famously took part in the films Angels One Five and Battle of Britain. It was flown during the war by Group Captain Peter Townsend, a good friend of Princess Margaret, with the No. 56 Squadron, RAF. A Hurricane with the marking PZ865 is recognised as a part of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, at RAF Coningsby, Lincolnshire. The motto Last of the many denotes this aircraft as the last one made from a total production of 12,995. A true collectors piece. Measures 15 inches in length, 19 inches in width and 4.5 inches in height. Comes complete with presentation stand. The model is hand crafted from kiln dried mahogany, and accurately hand painted using up to 35 coats of lacquer. A Bravo Delta Model is a true collectors piece.
