Fly Fishing for Two by from Red Letter Days

Uncover the mysteries of fly casting at Europe's premier 3,500 acre trout fishing lake. At a fully equipped lakeside fishing cabin, you'll taught fundamental techniques such as the flies used, how to cast a fly, how to read the water and the best times to fish. After a break for lunch, you'll have a chance to put theory into practice and trout fish on world-famous Rutland Water on a motor boat. If you manage to catch a fine trout, it will be prepared and packed (maximum of two) on your behalf to take home and impress family and friends. The trout aren't the easiest to catch but be assured, the quality of the fish is outstanding. Light refreshments and a certificate is also included as part of your experience.

Availability: Selected days from April to June and October to November, when the fishing is at its best.Weather: Fishing will go ahead in all types of weather.Duration: Lasts for up to seven hours.Numbers On Day: Share your experience with up to eight other participants. Each boat for the afternoon will contain two budding fly fisherman and an expert boatman.Spectators: Dress Code: Dress according to the weather, i.e. waterproofs, jacket, hat, sunglasses and sun block in summer.
