Lotus Exige S Thrill at Silverstone by from Red Letter Days

Based upon Lotus' renowned 'race car for the road' philosophy, the Exige is a hardcore, mid-engined sports car with astounding handling and power. What's more, this is the S version reaching 0 - 60 mph in just 4.1 seconds! You'll start off with a short briefing from a fully qualified instructor who will talk you through racing lines and track driving techniques. Then you'll take the driving seat of this fantastic piece of engineering for nearly ten miles around one of Silverstone's great circuits, giving you the opportunity to experience the razor-sharp handling and raw power of the Lotus first-hand. With an instructor alongside to help you get the most from the car's sensational performance, you'll realise why it is so respected.

Availability: Weekend dates once or twice a month, plus occasional weekdays. Weekends are always busy so allow at least six to eight weeks advance booking notice. The circuit closes between mid December and mid January for the winter shut-down.Weather: Track driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow, ice or severe rain) which would make driving at speed dangerous. Please call the venue if in any doubt. Duration: Expect to be at the venue for up to 40 minutes, with around eight minutes driving. Time quoted is for guidance and not to be misinterpreted as course duration. Please arrive a few minutes prior to your booking to ensure a prompt start time.Numbers On Day: You will share your briefing with up to 12 other participants and exclusively share the Lotus with just your instructor during your drive.Spectators: Spectators are welcome and can bring a camera to record your experience. Please note that pets are not permitted at any circuits.Dress Code: Dress warmly and comfortably in trousers and a long-sleeved top. Wear flat-soled shoes and bring driving gloves if you wish. A helmet will be provided.Guidelines: At this world-class venue on the day, you will drive either the Southern, Stowe or National Circuit. Restrictions: Minimum height 5'2'', maximum 6'4''. Maximum weight is 16 stone. Max age 70.
