Drive this fantastic British car around the world-famous Silverstone Circuit. The Exige is a hardcore, mid-engined sports car with astounding handling and power. Reaching 0 - 60 mph in under five seconds, it's truly one of the quickest and safest cars on the road today, and is an absolute thrill to drive. Learn about track driving techniques during a safety briefing. Once the car controls have been explained, you'll head out onto the Silverstone track for four laps. Have a break before going back out there for a further five laps in the Exige. As a finale, you'll be shown what these cars are really capable of during a high-speed lap by a professional instructor. Conclude with a debrief, driver assessment and certificate presentation.
Availability: Weekend dates once or twice a month, plus occasional weekdays. Weekends are always busy so allow at least six to eight weeks advance booking notice. The circuit closes between mid December and mid January for the winter shut-down.Weather: Track driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow, ice or severe rain) which would make driving at speed dangerous. Please call the venue if in any doubt. Duration: As a guide, expect to be at the venue for approximately two hours including briefing, tuition, driving time and a debrief. Please arrive a few minutes prior to your booking to ensure a prompt start time.Numbers On Day: Briefings will be shared; there may be up to 12 people taking part at any one time.Spectators: Spectators are welcome; get them to bring a camera. Please note that pets are not permitted at the circuit.Dress Code: Wear trousers, a long-sleeved shirt and slim, flat-soled shoes (the pedals in the car can be close together). Please avoid nylon clothing.
