Introduction to Yacht Racing by from Extreme Element

This is an amazing full day experience during the first half of which you will learn to crew and the second half race, high performance yachts! The experience will take place aboard a Sigma 8 metre which is fast, maneuverable and easy to handle - the perfect vessel for your first taste of yacht racing! During the morning you will receive a fun and action packed half day of hands on tuition during which you will get to perform all of the different roles required to crew. After a short break for lunch you will head back out to sea for an afternoon of racing; there will be up to three other identical yachts in the fleet and under the guidance of your skipper it will be down to you and your crew mates to prove that you have what it takes to make the winning difference! This day will give you a real insight in to the adrenalin fueled world of high performance yacht racing.
