Cookery Masterclass for Four by from Red Letter Days

Hazlewood Castle has been host to some magnificent banqueting down the centuries and was mentioned in the Domesday Book, commissioned by William the Conqueror in 1086. After coffee and biscuits, you'll go for a brief tour of the castle. Then enjoy a two-course lunch followed by a glass of champagne at Restaurant Anise. Head chef Tim Hamer then offers a two-hour cookery demonstration. Tim started his career at the Grosvenor House Hotel and has several years' experience working at top level. He'll show you how to prepare a variety of dishes - some classic, others with a contempory twist. The demonstration includes a tasting and Q and A session and you'll get a complimentary signature apron. Don't forget to leave room for afternoon tea and cakes!

Availability: Demonstrations run approximately three times a month, either on Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays.Weather: Duration: Your experience begins at midday and continues for five and a half hours.Numbers On Day: Up to 12 people take part.Spectators: Dress Code: Dress code for lunch at Restaurant Anise is smart casual (jackets please for gentlemen and no trainers).
