Professional Recording Studio Experience by from Red Letter Days

It's not just for singers - this experience is also perfect for musicians who'd like to record a piece of music. Come along to the session having rehearsed a song or piece and have the studio to yourself. An experienced session engineer/producer will demonstrate the process and offer expert advice on giving the best performance. Get a feel for the mixing process and what happens behind the scenes in the music industry - and maybe get to hear some stories about stars that your engineer has worked with. Take home your best performance from the session on a CD.

Availability: Availability varies between venues. Dates generally fill up quickly, so we recommend you book several weeks in advance, particularly during the busiest summer weekends.Weather: Duration: Your recording session will last for three hours. This is enough time to record at least one song, but please come well rehearsed so as not to waste any of your studio time on practice and retakes.Numbers On Day: The studio is all yours.Spectators: Either two or four spectators (depending on venue, minimum age eight at Manchester and anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult) are welcome. They can bring cameras or video cameras.Dress Code: Guidelines: If you have problems finding a particular track, each studio has an extensive catalogue of songs and will be happy to help. Most studios will call you to discuss your chosen song with them a week or two in advance of your booking.Restrictions: Under 14s or 16s (depending on venue) must be accompanied by an adult.
