Treat yourself to an intimate journey aboard a small aircraft for a half hour flight, it's long enough to offer you some magnificent views from the two or four seater training plane (such as a Cessna or a Piper) with a fully-qualified instructor. Watch as the pilot flies you with ease, talks to you about the controls and shows you how it is done. At their discretion (and if you are feeling confident), you can have a go yourself and feel the thrill of piloting a plane.
