Gancia was a popular brand of Asti some years ago, and is being relaunched onto UK market. Its ripe grapey flavours are balanced with a refreshing, naturally fruity acidity to finish clean and crisp, despite a honeyed sweetness. A delightful apéritif or party wine it is also good with rich celebration fruit cakes and puddings.
