YORKTEST can measure the severity of your reaction to 36 of the most common prevalent food and inhalent allergens, using just a single blood sample. Your results are presented for each specific allergen, indicating the strength of reaction on a scale of 0-4. Reactions to IgE mediated allergy occur almost immediately, usually within 2 hours of exposure to the offending substance. Typically inhalant allergy symptoms will affect the respiratory system. Contact with animal danders and house dust mite may cause skin reactions. Severe respiratory reactions may prove fatal due to respiratory failure. The Multi Allergy Screening Test provides a safe and effective alternative to skin tests.
