Aston Martin versus Lamborghini Thrill in Oxfordshire by from Red Letter Days
Experience the stunning Aston Martin V8 Vantage and the ferocious Lamborghini Gallardo and try to pick a winner! Kick off with a safety briefing from a qualified instructor who'll explain a variety of driving techniques. You will then be driven for a couple of demonstration laps in a hot hatch (typically in a Subaru Impreza WRX) to learn the best racing lines. Then it's time to take to the wheel, with a thrilling drive in the Lamborghini Gallardo for six laps. Afterwards, enjoy another six laps in the spectacular Aston Martin V8 Vantage. Conclude with a debrief and a certificate to take home.
Availability: Selected weekday dates three times and at least one Saturday each month from March until December. Dates fill very quickly, please allow at least six weeks advance booking notice.Weather: Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions which would make driving at speed dangerous. Please call the venue if in any doubt.Duration: Expect to be onsite for approximately two hours, including briefing and driving time. You will drive each car for six laps of the three quarters of a mile long circuit.Numbers On Day: Your briefing will be shared. The driver to instructor ratio is 4:1.Spectators: Spectators are very welcome. Please be aware that any children aged 11 or under must be accompanied by a spectating adult at all times. Pets are not permitted at any circuit.Dress Code: Wear flat shoes which are comfortable for driving (chunky boots aren't recommended).Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum age is 18 and you must have held a full manual driving licence for at least a year. Minimum height is 5', maximum is 6'6''. Maximum weight is 16 stone.
