F1 Driving by from Red Letter Days

Start with five demo laps in a Mini Cooper S followed by a safety briefing. Then drive yourself for six miles the Porsche 911 Turbo and six miles the Ferrari 360. Go solo with ten laps in a single-seater Formula Ford. Drive another seven un-paced laps in the single-seater, then upgrade to a stunning Formula 3 single-seater for ten laps. Next up is the main event with ten laps in either the 1996 Italian Forti-Corse FG03, as driven by Luca Badoer, or the 1994 Arrows FA14, as driven by Aguri Suzuki. These 600bhp machines will redefine your notion of speed and road handling and give you a huge adrenaline rush! Lunch, memorabilia and Formula 1 certificate are included, plus dinner, overnight accommodation and breakfast for you and a guest at a local hotel.

Availability: A minimum of six weeks' booking notice is essential. Runs one weekday date per month during the season (March to October). Weather: Driving could be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow, ice, heavy rain or high winds) which would make driving at speed dangerous. Please call the venue if in any doubt.Duration: Your driving experience will last for up to eight and a half hours including briefing, tuition, driving time and a debrief. Overnight accommodation for two people is also included.Numbers On Day: There will be a maximum of nine people taking part.Spectators: Hotel accommodation is included for one guest. Further spectators are welcome and there are cafe/clubhouse facilities on site. Please note that animals are not allowed at the circuit, with the exception of guide dogs.Dress Code: Wear trousers, a long-sleeved shirt and flat, thin soled shoes (no bulky footwear please). Protective clothing will be provided, but do feel free to bring your own helmet and/or overalls if you have them.Guidelines: Availability will dictate which of the two F1 cars mentioned you will drive on the day. The instructors reserve the right to restrict you from driving the F3 and the F1 on the day if they feel that you are not capable.Restrictions: Minimum age is 21.
