I love this knitted dress, I am fairly familiar with the Ichi brand, and when I saw this I was thoroughly intrigued. It's a really gorgeous dress, and like they show in the picture it looks great over jeans, although the photo they have doesn't really do it justice.

I bought it because I have too many summer clothes and I really needed something warm but stylish and this seemed to be the ideal product and at only forty quid, not too bad a price, I have looked around many shops in the high street and with jumpers it is especially hard to find the right fit. Also I didn't want to get a polo neck because of my large chest and I didn't want long sleeves because I find that high street brands can have very long sleeves which I then have to have adjusted on turn up, but the short sleeves on this were ideal.

The black is a really nice colour, and it's a good quality dress so you don't have to wear a vest underneath it if you wear it by itself, it doesn't go see through. I have had lots of compliments from friends and family, they all mostly wear black (its just so flattering) so they really liked it and I told them to check out the ichi brand. This cardigan is machine washable, but I would recommend hand washing just in case, its so nice that you don't want it to shrink.

I like being able to wear it with thick black tights and boots so it would be a real shame if it shrunk in the wash and became too short. It is quite short on anyway! You can also layer this dress with a long sleeved t-shirt underneath or with just a nice pair of black trousers, and even though it is a jumper dress, it isn't too heavy so you can still wear it when summer comes around.
