I love these shoes. My friend gave them to me a few weeks ago as a birthday present and I was absolutely thrilled. They look so sexy on and the patent shine is very fashionable right now. I had asked for shoes for my birthday, but I was not expecting anything quite as nice as these shoes, and I can't believe my friend paid £80 for them, but I have to admit they are definitely worth it.
I have worn them four times already and I have only had them for a few weeks. They look best with a classy, knee length black dress or pencil skirt. Since they are quite sexy then a short skirt just looks a bit too tarty with them, in fact I would say anything above the knee would probably look a bit over-done. They look great with trousers too, I have a black boot cut pair of trousers which I have worn with them and they look very stylish although I think skirts definitely show them better, and you will want to show them off to everyone when you wear them. The only downside is that the heels are very tall and your feet do start to ache a bit after wearing them, although this is a small price to pay for looking so stylish, and I am only five foot one so I could do with the extra height! Because they are open toe these shoes look really good with brightly coloured nail polish.
They are easy to clean (just wipe down the patent) and they are fairly durable although obviously avoid getting them stuck in any pavement gaps or anything because once the patent is chipped its hard to get it looking as shiny again. Still, I love these shoes and I'll definitely be checking out the other styles in Banana Shoes range, although I might have to save some money first.
