We bought this Beko dishwasher the day we moved into our new house and discovered that the dishwasher that was supposed to be in the kitchen had been sold by the owners! So, after having a look online for the nearest store to us, we headed on down to Comet and were shown a selection of reasonably priced dishwashers.

The main reason why we purchased the Beko dishwasher was the very reasonable price and also the fact that it was in stock and could be taken home the same day. But on getting the dishwasher home, I was pleased that I had chosen this model as it was spacious, with 12 place settings, meaning I could do a whole day's worth of cutlery and crockery as well as pots and pans in one wash. For ease, the back row of supports fold flat when washing larger items such as frying pans or baking trays. The cutlery holder is also a decent size, so the water can circulate around the dirty cutlery, ensuring everything gets clean.

The upper tray can take larger items too, but is great for glasses and cups as the holders can be raised or lowered holding the items in place so they don't fall over during the washing process and you don't end up with cups and glasses full of water.

The best settings are the rapid wash which takes around 30 minutes and is great if you're in a hurry, and the economy wash does take longer, but both provide excellent results. Even the rapid wash can shift baked on stains on cookware and the glasses come out as clean as if they'd been on a longer programme.

I had never been a fan of dishwashers, but having one like the Beko that is so roomy and with a good choice of washing programmes, I think I have been converted. The vast majority of my crockery is perfectly dry when I come to remove them from the dishwasher after the completion of the cycle, apart from some odd shaped crockery where a little bit of water is bound to sit. I'd say buy it!
