I bought this balloon for my Grandma and Grandad on their fiftieth anniversary (as well as some other stuff obviously!) and they really appreciated it. It's quite eye-catching, especially when it's afloat (you have to go to a party store to get the helium, and no you can't just blow it up, it loses the impact when it's lying listlessly on the ground!) and it's quite tasteful.

They wanted to have a gold theme (especially since the fiftieth is the gold anniversary) for their party and I didn't want to disappoint so we arranged lots of gold balloons and tablecloths and plates etc. I presented them with this balloon and their present in the morning and they were very surprised and delighted that we'd taken so much thought. There were a few styles of balloon I looked at but this one seemed to stand out (and some of the ones I saw weren't even gold! Which seems a bit pointless), it's also not a bad price, I found the prices ranged from £12 to £50 (seriously I saw one for £50, who would pay that for a balloon?!) so it was well within budget and they are reasonably priced enough that you could buy several at once for a party.

I was so inspired by my Grandparents anniversary and I thought it was nice to do something fun a cute like give them this balloon just to show I was very appreciative of all they had done and just to say how much they had inspired me (hope I can stand a man for fifty years or longer). It was a great gesture and a nice start to the day...the festivities went on for a long time and the balloon was still standing the next day, unfortunately it started to go down but the kids at the party loved it (kids seem obsessed with helium balloons) and it kept them entertained. So yeah, all in all a great balloon..
