I bought this Rio Blue Light Tooth Whitening Kit from an online retailer. I wanted something that would brighten my teeth up a bit. I have used lots of different whitening toothpastes but I felt that I now needed something with that little bit more power as my teeth were not really responding as well as I would have liked. My teeth were not discoloured but more like slightly stained from coffee and other food and drink stains.
I had used other whitening kits but never one with a blue light. This one was far easier to use and far superior in its ability to whiten and brighten the teeth. It was simple to use as there was no trying to make a mould of your own teeth like other cheaper kits I have used. You just spread a line of the super whitening gel into the plastic mould that is shaped much like a gum shield, then you simply pop it in your mouth and press a button to turn the blue light on. After the ten minutes lightening time the light automatically turns it self off. My one and only problem with this product comes in here - you don't have anything to indicate when the blue light has turned off. I solved this problem though by just putting my hand in front of my mouth and if the light was still on I could see it reflected on my skin. Then you take it out and check out the results which I could see after my first go. - Which you can do up to three times in one session to maximise the results.
I didn't find the time I was using the Rio Blue Light Tooth Whitening Kit painful or uncomfortable at all and there was no tingling or anything after the event! The price is great as once you have it, all you need to do is top up on gel which isn't too expensive and you sorted out for as long as you need to be.
